Jeff came over to re-key the house we just moved into. He was easy to chat with via text, which seems to be his preferred method of communication. He drives a "mobile workshop" so he has everything he needs with him and ready.
We had 2 standard doors with dead bolts, and then a sliding patio door with a key lock as well (didn't even know that was an option for sliding doors!). I had texted him a photo while scheduling the appt to see if I needed to buy new locks. Luckily he said nope, just needs new keys. He re-keyed all three to match, and made 6 copies, and I even added in 2 fun Padres themed keys to give to the parents/in-laws should we ever need to use them. (would have been cool if he had other "themed" keys with him to choose from, but he only had Chargers and Padres.)
I showed him the locks, he asked for the keys, and went about his business. That was it! Easy peasy!
